Spanish Classes - General Info
Class Dynamics
All classes cover specific grammar and conversation accordingly to the level. All class exercises are oral. Class participation is a must. Everyone speaks! Grammar is explained in a comprehensible manner for a better understanding of the structuring.
Class Levels
Spanish classes that are divided into different levels in order to better accommodate our students.
1) Introductory for students who have no prior experience with Spanish, its grammar or its pronunciation. It covers the basics. Emphasis in pronunciation, basic grammar and vocabulary. Students will learn to communicate.
2) Beginners for students with some previous Spanish experience and/or understanding. Basic vocabulary is required and ability to recognize and say small phrases. Basic pronunciation should not be an obstacle and some conjugation should be recognized.
3) Intermediate for students who feel comfortable and familiar with Spanish. Present, past and future tenses should be recognized. Communication in Spanish should be possible in an advanced basic level.
4) Advanced for students who are knowledgeable about the language; can speak and understand, but need to practice and improve advanced grammar such as Subjunctive and Compound tenses and Passive Voice. Fluency is required.
Class Size
Spanish Classes can be taken privately or in groups at any of our locations or at your place of work for business or corporate classes.
Group classes are small in order for everyone to actively participate. Average size for a regular group is 4 to 6 students, but we are flexible and do accommodate other class sizes (specially for corporate or business classes).
Private classes can be held on a one-on-one basis or also in small groups (semi-privates).
Scheduling
Group classes are scheduled on a weekly basis in order to have options available at all times. Private, semi-privates, corporate, business and online classes can start immediately.
